Crossbite

A crossbite is where the upper teeth rest inside the lower teeth. If it is at the front it is called an anterior crossbite and if it is at the back it is called a posterior crossbite. Crossbites can cause issues with the wear of the teeth and jaw joint problems as well as making the smile look narrow. In addition, you may find the lower face looks unbalanced.
