How do Anti Wrinkle Injections & Dermal Fillers Work?
When people talk about Botox, they generally mean wrinkle-reducing injections using Botulinum Toxin Type A. When Botulinum Toxin Type A is injected into your facial muscles in tiny quantities, it temporarily blocks the signals to your brain that tell the muscles to contract. Therefore, they stay still and don’t disrupt the overlying skin, noticeably reducing the appearance of expressive lines and wrinkles.
Dermal fillers, on the other hand, use a synthetic version of hyaluronic acid, an otherwise naturally occurring carbohydrate that helps your skin look hydrated and full of youthful volume. As your natural supplies of hyaluronic acid begin to get smaller, dermal filler injections can restore some of your skin’s lost volume. They are ideal for reducing the depth of static lines and wrinkles around the under-eye area, nose and mouth.
Are wrinkle reducing injections safe?
Both anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers have an excellent safety record and have been the subject of many clinical trials. They are well tolerated, but should always be administered by an experienced and properly trained medical aesthetic professional.

How soon will I see results from my Facial Rejuvenation treatment?
How quickly you see results will depend on which treatment you have. The results of anti-wrinkle injections usually take around a week to become noticeable, whereas you should see the results of a dermal filler treatment straightaway. With facial rejuvenation treatments such as dermaroller skin-needling, you should see ongoing improvements over several weeks/months.
